C is correct.

Most of the time, it's better to use a LAG because it enables you to scale easily without having to reconfigure the FortiLink interface, while offering the best throughput. You can also use a physical port for your FortiLink interface. You can use this option if your FortiGate is running an earlier firmware version that does not support LAGs. If your FortiGate device is running a recent FortiOS version that supports LAGs, using a LAG with a single member interface is a better option.
