Selected Answers: C

C is correct. Without a DHCP IP address from the Fortilink interface, alongside other configurations like NTP, the DTLS tunnel might not come up or cause connectivity issues.

FortiGate acts as the switch's DHCP, DNS, and NTP server. FortiSwitch uses DHCP to get an IP address from the same subnet as the FortiLink interface. In addition, FortiGate is configured to respond to DNS and NTP requests received at the FortiLink interface by default. Using NTP is very important because the time on FortiGate and FortiSwitch must be in sync. Otherwise, the CAPWAP DTLS tunnel might not be established, and the switch won't come online.
