In the exhibit, port2 is in Static mode, which means the NAC policy will never be triggered even if the device matches the MAC address or OS pattern. Changing port2’s Access mode to NAC will allow the FortiGate/FortiSwitch to apply the NAC policy and assign the device to the Students VLAN dynamically.
