Most vendors now, such as Cisco, Fortinet, and others, use advanced monitoring and security systems during official exams, and they can detect abnormal behavior.

For this reason, and to stay compliant with exam rules, please keep the following points in mind:

1. Take your time when answering questions. Read each question carefully and do not rush.
For example, Fortinet has cancelled thousands of certifications over the past two weeks because of abnormal answering speed during exams. It is not realistic for someone to answer 35 questions in only 10 or 15 minutes, because each question usually needs around 2–3 minutes to be read, understood, and answered carefully.

2. If you studied from a dump from a famous website, try to change the answer of a question or two from the dump; so that there won't be hundreds of people answering the exact same answer.

3. During the exam, stay focused on the exam screen and avoid looking around without a reason.

4. If your exam is online, choose a quiet place and make sure nobody else is in the room during the exam.

Any abnormal behavior during the exam may put your result or certification under review, and in some cases, it may lead to cancellation, depending on each vendor’s policies.
